The phone will also now support 4G or 3G dual sim dual standby mode. It waited a while before releasing new Nokia phones that are powered by Android this time.

One glance at the changelog in the screenshot (below) suggests that the new Nougat update is significantly large (369MB) and incorporates key changes to the system software.

If you own a Nokia 6 device, you are sure to get its pop up on your device soon.

HMD Global has started rolling out a new OTA update for the Nokia 6 users.

"Nokia 6 comes with Android Nougat, the full spread of Google Services and no unnecessary extras".

Further, new and updated emojis will now also be supported on Nokia 6. Last but not the least, the company has updated the Google Security patch to April 2017. Moreover, the Nokia USB driver has been updated to latest version, and all the preinstalled apps have been replaced with latest versions.

The Nokia 6 is now available in China and some select countries. Envisioned by Phone Designer on Facebook, the phone has a 5.5-inch screen with a 2:1 aspect ratio and packs front-firing stereo speakers despite the exceedingly thin bezels on all sides.

HMD Global has shared that the global variant of the Nokia 6 will be released this spring, which includes the United States. It also houses 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage (expandable to 128 GB).

There's also the Nokia 8 whose specs were also leaked a few months ago. The selfie camera is said to have a 12-megapixel shooter, while the phone could come with a 3,800mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0.
