Car Dragged By Truck For Miles

Steimke's video caption said that the two had been driving in this manner for four miles.

The video, which was uploaded to Facebook, showed major damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.

Among the people who appear to have seen this act of vehicular mayhem is one Brian Steimke, who captured it on video and posted it on his Facebook account on Wednesday night. The truck driver seemed oblivious to the plight of the auto behind him, and said he did not know there was another auto attached to his vehicle, even though he had dragged it for about four miles.

The Nissan's windshield is shattered, its hood crumpled and airbag deployed; the tires can be heard flapping against the pavement. Steimke stops too and runs back down the freeway to check out the scene.

The truck driver also asked to remain unidentified.

The driver responded and asked, "so far?"

"What do you mean you didn't know, dude?"

At that point, Steimke's camera gets closer to the rear of the truck, where the Nissan remains attached.

It doesn't take very long for new drivers to grow accustomed to sharing the road with semi-trucks. Someone asks him to stop recording, and he does. The California Highway Patrol said that the crash was "not considered a criminal incident".
