Pre-orders for the HTC U11 will begin from June 17 on the HTC E-store in India, and clients who pre-request will also get a free HTC Flip cover worth Rs 1,999.

HTC U11 also scored 90 on the DXOmark test which makes it the highest scoring mobile smartphone camera yet. We're expecting a Rs 50,000 plus price tag easily on the HTC U11. The smartphone is very good to hold in the hand, and despite the glass on the front and back, it has a decent drip. There is a fingerprint sensor as well on board with other features such as 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB Type-C 3.1. HTC is also providing its USonic adaptive earphones in-the-box. The whole package is kept powered by a 3,000 mAh battery which should be good enough to keep it powered for an entire day.

The camera of this phone is very good. It is a Water and dust resistant with IP57 certification. The Edge Sense feature stands a big attraction feature for the device which promises a new way of interacting with the device. This has allowed Samsung to squeeze in a 5.8-inch screen without increasing the smartphone's size.

HTC U11 comes with fascinating technology Edge Sense, where a user can squeeze the smartphone to set certain commands and functions.

HTC has promised that it will be adding more functionality to the feature in coming months.

Whether or not HTC flagships' impressive feature is reflected in its sales is a different matter but it is a known fact that its devices have a good camera. However, these are just our first impressions and you will have to wait till we conduct a full review for our final opinion on the new feature.

The phone aims to offer excellent music experience. It is running on Android 7.1 Nougat based HTC's custom skin on top.

What gives the HTC U11 an upper hand over the rivals is the Snapdragon 835 octa-core chip inside it. It supports 1080p video recording.

In terms of optics, the HTC U 11 sports a 12-megapixel UltraPixel 3 rear-facing camera with 1.4-micron pixels, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an f/1.7 aperture, a BSI sensor, ultra-fast laser focus and new Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), a dual-tone LED flash and slow-motion. The front camera has a selfie panorama too. Furthermore, the storage can be expanded up to 2GB with a microSD card.
