LG G7, V30 may get launched earlier than usual

As for the LG G7, the phone is believed to be announced in January that is a couple of months early since the new LG G phone is usually announced March of each year. The LG G7 will launch earlier too; that phone will land in January, apparently. An earlier release cycle, beating both the Note series handsets - which after the Note 7 failure past year have their own issues - as well as the S series handsets to market would benefit LG greatly. That's according to Aju Business Daily, via The Investor, whose sources say that LG wants to get its new flagship to market before its rivals.

The V30 is also rumored to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 836 processor and a dual-lens rear-facing camera. This chipset has not yet been announced, however, so expect more news about this setup later on this year.

According to Android Authority, LG might launch the V30 on the last days of August, when the press release dates for the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) will fall. Last year, the V20 was released in September.

We look forward to see what kind of innovations the LG G7 will sport when it arrives in January 2018. Now, word has it that the smartphone might be unveiled earlier than usual in August. This is definitely ahead of LG's normal schedule that reveals their flagship device at Mobile World Congress (MWC) annually for some time now in Barcelona, Spain.

When the LG G6 launched, some consumers felt like they weren't getting the best and latest as it came with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821, instead of the more powerful and efficient Snapdragon 835. That is, as long as Samsung doesn't push up its Galaxy S9 announcement timing as well.
