Welsh Premier League champions The New Saints will discover their Champions League first qualifying round opponents on Monday.

Having played in the top flight of Albanian football for only the past five years, Kukes made history in the Albanian Superliga in late May when they claimed their first Superliga title.

All Irish clubs involved will be unseeded and apart from Dundalk, the rest will enter into the first round of the Europa League draw, with 100 sides in total entering at this stage.

Niederkorn have failed to win any of their 12 matches in Europe, scoring only once.

Teams have to pass through three qualifying rounds and a play-off before making it to the group stage of the Europa League.

St Johnstone, who were also seeded for the draw, were drawn to play Lithuanian side Trakai and will also start their Europa League campaign at home at McDiarmid Park.

A 13,000km round-trip for a first round Europa League qualifier would be the stuff of nightmares, and the team waiting for them wouldn't exactly be a pushover either.
