Man rescued after locking himself inside an ATM in Texas

In a desperate bid for assistance, the contractor began scrawling notes onto little scraps of paper and sliding them through the receipt slot.

Under capitalism, money imprisons us all, but for one man in Corpus Christi, Texas, this arrangement transcended mere metaphor recently. The note read, "Please help, I'm stuck in here and I don't have my phone. I'm stuck in here".

While changing a lock, he became stuck inside the room connected to the ATM, KRIS TV reported.

For a little while Wednesday afternoon, customers at an ATM in Texas got a curious extra with their cash. "Please call my boss", giving the phone number.

A customer called police, who heard a faint voice coming from the ATM.

Most people thought it was a joke, but someone eventually called police. So we are thinking this is a joke.

A supervisor for the worker, who had left his phone in his truck, did not know how to get him out, so police kicked down a door that led into the service room where he was PIN-ed inside.

Officer Olden told local media: "Everyone is okay, but you will never see this in your life, that somebody was stuck in the ATM, it was just insane". It was just insane, ' he added. Officers on the scene said they believed the man was trapped for two hours.
