LG IFA Invite Confirms August 31st Unveiling Of LG V30

South Korean OEM giant LG is getting ready to launch their upcoming flagship smartphone in Top Tier V-series, by August 31 at Berlin IFA 2017. That date is August 31, one day before IFA officially kicks off. Something you may notice from the image above is the apparent lack of the secondary display that the V10 and V20 featured. It's now believed that the LG V30 smartphone, the successor to last year's V20, will finally be revealed at the upcoming event.

OnLeaks also shared the first look at the LG V30 on behalf of My Smart Price. The display on the smartphone would measure 6 inches diagonally.

Apart from G6, if there's anything that LG boasts like a flagship, it's the premium V series.

There's been a lot of rumors circulating about the LG V30.

The screen ratio could be the same as that of the G6 model unveiled earlier this year, notes ZDNet. The company reportedly intends to use the latest Snapdragon 845 processor in the device, for which it is in talks with Qualcomm.

The LG V30 will support all the major connectivity options like 4G LTE, VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, etc. If correct, the focus on the fundamental design as opposed to adding gimmicky second displays or modular "Friends" is a welcome change and will hopefully continue LG's return to form. The smartphone is tipped to offer 64GB or 128GB of internal storage as well. It marks the first time for LG to showcase a flagship device at the IFA. For connectivity, the LG V30 will feature a USB Type-C port. Connectivity options also include 4G LTE.

Pictures have popped across the internet that show the device having wireless charging capabilities along with a glass back.
