The Hilarious Way Zendaya Shut Down Those Tom Holland Dating Rumors

"I haven't been on a vacation in years", Zendaya wrote on Twitter. The "Spider-Man Homecoming" actor then replied, asking if the press tour for the movie counts. We already know about how Peter Parker was bitten by a spider that gave him special abilities and we also know about how the tragic death of Uncle Ben motivates him to be the hero he's destined to be.

Director Jon Watts, coming off the acclaimed "Cop Car", takes control of the film this time around. Together, and with help from other Avengers, they fought to keep the superhero peace. Among the more intriguing new additions are the evil Vulture (Michael Keaton) and Peter's friends Ned (Jacob Batalon) and Michelle (Zendaya).

Despite trying to warn Stark to no avail, Peter made a decision to take down the underground ring, led by the metal winged Adrian Toomes aka "Vulture" (Michael Keaton) on his own.

It appears the "Spider-Man: Homecoming" co-stars have not gotten tangled in a relationship.

Regardless of the film's few shortcomings, it is overall a well-executed introduction for Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"This is a Peter Parker who's had it all, lost it all, and now has to find his place in the world again", Slott told Entertainment Weekly. Yes, we do need character arcs to make the story interesting and dramatic, but surely the arc can be achieved through other ways as well, no?

There are a lot of scenes and moments within the film that stand out as great whether they are comedic, action-oriented or dramatic. We'll simply have to wait and see.

"Very...very intimidating", Zendaya captioned an Instagram photo of Holland and fellow "Spider-Man" costars on July 6. Spider-MAn is hot on his trail, but the villain is a bit too much for him to handle after spending most of his time catching local bicycle and ATM thieves.

Marvel's Spider-Man premieres Saturday, August 19 at 7am/6c on Disney XD.
