"Resident Evil: Revelations" Updates Port Details, Nintendo Switch Plans

The PS4 and Xbox One versions will features higher resolution visuals, a smoother framerate, and more detail all around as compared to the last gen original. Though the publisher had indicated they were coming, this is actually fairly closer than expected. If you become a Resident Evil Revelations addict (like one does), a theme for your console is also included in the package; creepy eyeball and all.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is already available on PS4 and Xbox One, with Revelations 1 hitting those platforms August 29th. Both Resident Evil: Revelations and Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will release for Nintendo Switch later this year.

Resident Evil Revelations will release on Nintendo Switch later this year, and so will its sequel. Clearly plans changed somewhere down the line.

It's really promising to see Capcom bringing more titles to the Switch. They'll also come with all of the downloadable content released for both games, as well as any unlockable rewards that were present with the games upon their release. And yes, this includes the second game, which features Resident Evil veterans Claire Redfield and Barry Burton.

This version is more than just a port, since it also includes the "Raid Mode" DLC which is like a more hard version the "The Mercenaries".

In addition to the Switch release, fans will get a chance to play the Raid Mode alongside an interesting twist in "The Ghost Ship: Chaos".

Capcom's support for Nintendo Switch up to this point has been limited to the release of Ultra Street Fighter II: The New Challengers, which seems to have performed above expectations.
