Tom Cruise injured on the set of 'Mission Impossible 6'

Tom is known for performing his own spectacular stunts, and his M:I 6 stunt is tipped to "top anything that's come before".

Actor, Tom Cruise has suffered an injury while shooting Mission: Impossible 6 in London. Cruise comes short of making it to the other rooftop, though, and his body slams into the building, all the while still securely attached to his safety harness.

Cruise is then seen pulling himself up and limping over to the film's crew members, who are just feet away.

The video was obtained by the entertainment news website TMZ, which said the video was made on Sunday.

He has been filming characteristically unsafe scenes in Paris, where he rode a motorbike into a vehicle before flying through the air, and Oxfordshire, where Cruise was photographed parachuting at the beginning of the month. The extent of his injuries are now unclear.

No stranger to wild stunts, Cruise has upped his game for Mission: Impossible 6, reportedly working for an entire year in preparation for a single stunt.

Christopher McQuarrie is helming the sixth M:I installment, targeting a summer 2018 release. At the time of reporting, Cruise's representatives had not answered requests for comment from outlets actively reporting on the situation, including The Hollywood Reporter. We wish Tom Cruise the best, and hope he recovers quickly.

Tom plays Ethan Hunt in the smash hit series, which also stars Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner and Vanessa Kirby, with details of the plot being kept under wraps.
